For this historic LP, the Dave Brubeck Quartet met with The New York Philhamonic under the direction of Leonard Bernstein for a program subtitled "Bernstein Plays Brubeck Plays Bernstein." Together they perform Howard Brubeck's sidelong "Dialogues for Jazz Combo and Orchestra" along with five Bernstein songs (including four from West Side Story).
